Relax near Timisoara - Baile Felix

Another place to relax near Timisoara (3 hours by car) is Baile Felix spa. Only 9 km away from Oradea, it has thermal mineral waters that were discovered around the year 1000 by Felix Hendres. They have been used since then for the treatment of various affections, such us inflammatory rheumatic diseases, degenerative and articular rheumatic diseases, central and peripheral neurological disorders, gynecological diseases, post-traumatic conditions, endocrine disorders.
In Baile Felix you can find several impressive natural attractions. One of them is the water lilies nature reserve in the thermal waters of Petea lake. It shelters rare plants and fauna species that survived due to the presence of thermal waters, such us "Nymphaea lotus thermalis", a rare species of subtropical water lily and the landmark of Baile Felix. The lake has a constant temperature of 30-31°C.
